Reconnecting with New Zealand

Last week our New Zealand borders re-opened and people are starting to reconnect.

This means if you have been thinking about coming to NZ to work as a dental professional, it's a bit easier than it has been in the last few years.

As a dentist, specialist, hygienist or OHT you've always been eligible to apply as a 'critical health worker', but now you can come to NZ on a working holiday or other visa depending on your circumstances.

Currently to work in NZ you will need to be registered with the Dental Council New Zealand, hold a current APC and provide proof of your Covid vaccination status.

We have a number of excellent roles around NZ, with good remuneration and additional benefits like mentoring, accommodation, and signing on bonuses. To find out more you can search our website by location and then contact Toni - she's here to help guide you.

So if you're wanting to find out more about what type of jobs we have got, or what's involved in working in NZ, then get in touch with Toni on +64 3 477 8777 or send an email along with your resume, advising what you're wanting in a role and any questions you might have to toni@lanz.dental.

We're looking forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to New Zealand.
