Dentist - Alexandra

Locum needed to help for a few months (August - September) in this busy Central Otago practice.

About the practice and the role:

• Full time or part time, if you'd like to spend a few days a week skiing 
• Dates: August - September, but they're flexible and you can start earlier/finish later if you want
• Supported by experienced dentists, hygienist and support staff and visiting specialists
• Equipment includes: digital x-rays, OPG, Cephlogram, CAD/CAM, and Laser
• Offering patients general, cosmetic and orthodontic treatment
• Remuneration: 40% and accommodation available in Alex or Cromwell

About you:

• 2+ Years similar clinical experience preferred, but will consider a recent graduate
• Knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
• Passionate about providing exceptional patient care
• Comfortable planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a friendly collaborative team

About the area: Alexandra is known as the hottest, driest and coldest town in New Zealand. On foot or on a mountain bike, you can follow gold miner’s trails in the hills to appreciate the unique beauty of the area. You can also visit Pinot Noir vineyards and discover gold mining history at the museum. In winter, go ice skating on Manorburn Dam with its 30 hectares of natural ice, and it's only 1.5 hours from the snowfields of Queenstown and Wanaka.
