Friendly practice in Tauranga looking for an experienced dentist to temporarily join their team.

About the practice and the role:

• Immediate start through to August 2024
• Full time (Monday to Thursday)
• Hours are 8.30am to 5pm 
• Remuneration: 40% commission
• Strong general dentistry skills
• Confident and comfortable working as a sole practitioner
• Two chair general dentistry practice with focus on restorative and family dentistry
• Equipment includes: rotary endo, with an OPG being installed early in 2024
• Supported by a practice manager, dental assistant and oral health therapist
• Travel and accommodation support to be negotiated for the right candidate
• This role could become permanent after the locum role finishes.

About you:

• 2+ years clinical experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
• Comfortable being a sole practitioner
• Be passionate about providing exceptional patient care
• Confident planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
• Approachable, friendly and professional
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
• Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.
