Our client is a global brand and leading manufacturer of specialist dental materials.
About the company and the role:
- Full time (Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm)
- Work from home - you can be based anywhere in the country
- Close working relationship with NZ distributor, based in Auckland
- Territory covers all of New Zealand, so travel will be involved nationally and occasionally to Melbourne
- Meet and exceed sales targets whiles increasing sales with direct and distributor sales
- Understanding key company products and those of the competition
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values - passion, accountability, respect. teamwork and innovation

- You're the sole NZ representative, reporting to the Sales Manager for Australia and New Zealand
- Remuneration: $70-$80,000 base with commission and bonus, car, laptop and iPad

Key responsibilities include:
- Create and implement annual territory plan
- Regular visits to customers
- Educate clients and dealer reps
- Conducts presentations and demonstrations
- Attending trade shows as required
- Regular reporting on activities, competition and future plans.

About you:
- Either dental or sales experience preferred

Tertiary education qualification in Hygiene, Therapy or Dentistry is highly favourable or you could be a Dental Assistant or Practice
Manager
- Sound understanding of dental terminology, clinical procedures and patient needs
- A sales professional with proven ability to meet sales targets in the dental industry is ideal
- A sound understanding of the sales process
- Established network within the dental industry exhibiting maintained ongoing relationships with dental professionals
- Knowledge of Salesforce software and CRM functions a bonus
- Exceptional planning and organisation
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
- High level of self motivation, determination to succeed, and positive mental attitude
- Ability to work with a diverse range of people
- Consultative sales approach to develop customer business relationships with direct dental accounts
- Ability to identify opportunities and recommend improvements
