Practice Manager - North Shore, Auckland

Our client is searching for an experienced dental professional to join them as Practice Manager.

About the practice and the role:

• Initially part time 4-6 hours a day 5 days a week - flexible around times
• Equipment includes EMS scaler, digital x-rays, OPG, i/o scanner, i/o camera, CT, oral cancer screening, laser
• The practice uses Exact software
• Duties include: staff management, stock control, ordering, practice compliance and protocols, patient recalls, payment collection
• This role will expand with the move into larger 3 surgery premises later this year
  • Set up of new practice
  • Day to day running of practice
  • Staff roster, compliance, management, recruitment, onboarding and training
  • Liaises with ACC, Ministry of Health, insurance companies and third parties
  • Practice protocols, compliance, maintenance, etc.
  • Optimise patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilisation 
  • Protects patients, staff and business confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
  • Patient recall, reactivation and reporting
  • Fill in for DA/Reception on ad hoc basis
• Remuneration: Starting rate of $45-$48 p/hr for the right candidate, depending on experience

About you:

• You'll have worked in a New Zealand dental practice before, possibly as a dental assistant or receptionist
• Knowledge of dental industry - both clinical and non-clinical
• Excellent customer service skills
• Enjoys being part of a collaborative team
• Works to ensure the practice runs efficiently, effectively and meets objectives
• Flexible, friendly and approachable
• Strong decision-making and time management skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Natural leader
